A long screenshot is what you need when the interesting part of a page is spread across several screens: a chat thread, a documentation article, a dashboard, a long product page. Full page screenshot scrolls the page for you and returns one continuous capture.
Scrolling capture without stitching
Capturing a tall page manually means pressing the shortcut, scrolling, pressing again, then aligning the pieces in an image editor — and the seams always show. The extension performs the scroll itself in even steps and assembles the parts into one file, so the finished capture has no duplicated rows and no visible joins.
Images that load while you scroll
Most modern sites only load images when they come close to the viewport. A naive capture races past them and produces grey placeholders. The extension pauses at each step so that late-loading images, embedded charts and deferred sections appear in the result the way a reader would see them.
Sticky headers and floating bars
Fixed navigation bars, cookie banners and chat bubbles follow the scroll, which is why they sometimes repeat down the whole length of a naive long screenshot. The capture keeps those elements in their place instead of stamping them into every step, so the result reads as one page.
Pick the format, then review the file
A long capture can be exported as PDF, PNG or JPG. PDF suits very tall pages you plan to read or print; PNG keeps text crisp; JPG keeps the file small. Very tall pages are captured too; extremely long documents simply take a few seconds more while the extension scrolls through them.
Will fixed headers repeat in the file?+
No. Fixed elements stay where they belong instead of appearing in every step of the capture.
Can I capture an infinite feed?+
Feeds are captured as far as they have loaded, so scroll to the point you want included before starting the capture.
